Did you know that your Account Manager is a time management expert?

Social-Media-GraphicDaylight Savings time has come and we’ve sprung forward for the benefit of longer days, but does this actually mean more time during our day? Unfortunately no. And from working with our clients, I know that many of you are tackling thousands, and in some cases millions of pieces of social data on a daily basis as you monitor your brand, analyze the competitive landscape, create pitch decks, manage customer service and more, and all of this work has to fit into already packed days. Visible Intelligence is packed with many tools and functionalities that can help keep you and your teams up to date and save you time.

Considering we can’t actually give you more hours in the day, your Account Managers wanted to share some of their favorite features and tips and tricks for taming your social to-do list.

1Dashboards: Your time management can be tamed with dashboards that provide you on-demand visualizations summarizing the trends, top authors, top sites, prominent terms and share of voice and post verbatim. Individual users and teams can utilize customized dashboards that help inform their day to day listening as well as power regular reporting. Generate PDFs from your dashboards with one-click to enrich regular communications and inform stakeholders.

Summary Tabs: The Summary Tab allows you to see an on-demand dashboard for each of your searches. You can customize all of the filters to create a mini-dashboard and create PDFs right from the platform for each and every search.

Engagement Tab and Streams: The Engagement Module within the Visible Intelligence workspace can be an amazing time management tool. One of my favorites is the Streams Feature which allows each individual user to configure one screen that streams the content from multiple searches all in one place. Each user can prioritize their own searches, and what I love is that the system will flag whenever new content is available so users can reduce click through time to view multiple search results and in refreshing their screens.

Additionally for those of you who manage or follow Facebook and Twitter content, syncing your social profiles through your VI workspace helps consolidate all of your social activities in one place. Plus the scheduling feature allows you to control your content creation in your own time.

2Alerts: Your VI workspace can be configured with unlimited alerts that send the latest social data and visualizations right to your inbox. Alerts can be set up for specific searches and/or for your dashboards and these can be emailed to VI users at specific days and times as you need them.

  • You can set up alerts for individual searches which will send you the most recent posts or your specific dashboards. You can receive the latest posts and your dashboards right to your inbox.
  • Alerts can be set up right through your Settings Tab and configured to be sent at specific intervals and/or based on thresholds.
